About Elly Twineyo
A UK trained economist, with over 20 years of international experience in the leadership of the private sector, Government, development agencies, and civil society. He has worked on projects for The World Bank, USAID, WTO, ITC, JICA, JETRO, among others.
He has had a long career working in the private sector, donor projects, government, academia and civil society. He was lecturer (Part time/ Full time) for over 10 years teaching and supervising students in the courses of economics, business management, and law. He has made several presentations to business associations, academia, and government and written several articles in different media.
Has lectured at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) and Uganda Management Institute (UMI).
He is the author of Why Africa Fails (2012); The Basics of Business Management – Vol I: Leadership, Financial Management, and Economics (2016); The Basics of Business Management – Vol II: Marketing, Logistics, Procurement, and Law (2017).
An international author of 3 books on economy and business management.
A graduate of economics, finance, and international business from University of London, University of Reading, and Makerere University Uganda.
Fellow of Marketing management – The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK; Fellow of Procurement & Supply Chain Management – The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply Chain Management (CIPS), UK.
